- ITN 101 - Introduction to Network Concepts
- Provides instruction in networking media, physical and logical topologies, common networking standards and popular networking protocols. Emphasizes the TCP/IP protocol suite and related IP addressing schemes, including CIDR. Includes selected topics in network implementation, support and LAN/WAN connectivity.Lecture 3-4 hours per week.
3-4 credits - ITN 106 - Microcomputer Operating Systems
- Teaches use of operating system utilities and multiple-level directory structures, creation of batch files, and configuration of microcomputer environments. May include a study of graphical user interfaces.Lecture 3-4 hours per week.
3-4 credits - ITN 107 - Personal Computer Hardware and Troubleshooting
- Includes specially designed instruction to give a student a basic knowledge of hardware and software configurations. Includes the installation of various peripheral devices as well as basic system hardware components.Lecture 3-4 hours per week.
3-4 credits - ITN 110 - Client Operating System (Specify Version)
- Covers installation, configuration, administration, management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the desktop client operating system in a networked environment.Lecture 3-4 hours per week.

- Covers installation, configuration, administration, management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a server in a networked environment.Lecture 3-4 hours per week.

- Covers planning, installation, configuration, administration, management, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure components.Lecture 3-4 hours per week.

- Covers planning, installation, configuration, administration, management, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Active Directory (AD) and Domain Name Service (DNS) in a networked environment.Lecture 3-4 hours per week.
3-4 credits - ITN 154 - Introduction to Networks - Cisco
- Provides instruction in the fundamentals of networking environments, the basics of router operations, and basic router and switch configuration.Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 2-3 hours. Total 5-6 hours per week.
4 credits - ITN 155 - Switching, Routing and Wireless Essentials - Cisco
- Provides the skills and knowledge to install, operate, and troubleshoot routers and switches in small networks. Introduces students to wireless local area networks (WLANS) and network security concepts.Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 2-3 hours. Total 5-6 hours per week.
Prerequisite: ITN 1544 credits - ITN 156 - Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation - Cisco
- Teaches students to configure, troubleshoot, and secure enterprise networks. Introduces students to virtualization, application programming interfaces (APIs) and the configuration management tools that make network automation possible.Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 2-3 hours. Total 5-6 hours per week.
Prerequisite: ITN 1554 credits - ITN 170 - Linux System Administration
- Focuses instruction on the installation, configuration and administration of the Linux operating system and emphasizes the use of Linux as a network client and workstation.Lecture 3-4 hours per week.
3-4 credits - ITN 171 - Unix 1
- Provides an introduction to UNIX operating systems. Teaches login procedures, file creation, UNIX file structure, input/output control, and the UNIX shell.Lecture 3-4 hours per week.
3-4 credits - ITN 190 - Coordinated Internship
- Supervises on-the-job training in selected business, industrial or service firms coordinated by the college.Credit/practice ratio not to exceed 1:5 hours. May be repeated for credit. Variable hours.
1-5 credits - ITN 195 - Topics In
- Provides an opportunity to explore topical areas of interest to or needed by students.May be used also for special honors courses. May be repeated for credit. Variable hours.
1-5 credits - ITN 197 - Cooperative Education
- Supervises in on-the-job training for pay in approved business, industrial and service firms, coordinated by the college's cooperative education office. Is applicable to all occupational- technical curricula at the discretion of the college.Credit/work ratio not to exceed 1:5 hours. May be repeated for credit. Variable hours.
1-5 credits - ITN 200 - Administration of Network Resources
- Focuses on the management of local area network servers. Teaches proper structuring of security systems. Explains print queues, disk management, and other local area network (LAN) issues. Presents concerns and issues for the purchase and installation of hardware and software upgrades. Can be taught using any network operating system or a range of operating systems as a delivery tool.Lecture 3-4 hours per week.
3-4 credits - ITN 257 - Cloud Computing: Infrastructure and Services
- Focuses on cloud infrastructure, deployment, security models, and the key considerations in migrating to cloud computing. Covers the technologies and processes required to build traditional, virtualized, and cloud data center environments, including computation, storage, networking, desktop and application virtualization, business continuity, security, and management.Lecture 3-4 hours. Total 3-4 hours per week.
3-4 credits - ITN 260 - Network Security Basics
- Provides instruction in the basics of network security in depth. Includes security objectives, security architecture, security models and security layers; risk management, network security policy, and security training. Includes the five security keys, confidentiality integrity, availability, accountability and auditability.Lecture 3-4 hours per week.
3-4 credits - ITN 261 - Network Attacks, Computer Crime and Hacking
- Encompasses in-depth exploration of various methods for attacking and defending a network. Explores network security concepts from the viewpoint hackers and their attack methodologies. Includes topics about hackers, attacks, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) malicious code, computer crime and industrial espionage.Lecture 3-4 hours per week.
3-4 credits - ITN 262 - Network Communication, Security and Authentication
- Covers an in-depth exploration of various communication protocols with a concentration on TCP/IP. Explores communication protocols from the point of view of the hacker in order to highlight protocol weaknesses. Includes Internet architecture, routing, addressing, topology, fragmentation and protocol analysis, and the use of various utilities to explore TCP/IP.Lecture 3-4 hours per week.
