The Introduction to Non-Profit Management Career Studies Certificate provides students with the basic knowledge and skills to enter or advance in positions related to the arts. This program trains students who are (or wish to become) engaged with the arts as volunteers or as candidates for paid positions. Students gain skills such as the importance of teamwork, understanding successful operations of visual and performing arts, the value of volunteerism, and the need to perform business-related tasks within the arts such as management, finances, marketing, sales and merchandising.
