AUT 142 - Auto Power Trains II
Presents operation, design, construction and repair of power train components, standard and automatic transmission. Includes clutches, propeller shaft, universal joints, rear axle assemblies, fluid couplings, torque converters as well as 2, 3, and 4 speed standard, overdrive and automatic transmissions. Part II of II.
Lecture 2-3 hours. Laboratory 2-6 hours. Total 4-8 hours per week.

Due to the current COVID-19 crisis and insufficient space in our classrooms to provide the required social distancing, the Lecture component of this class will be online, however the Lab component will be on campus, in person. Classes will alternate weeks, one week online Lecture and another week on campus Lab. Both Lecture and Lab will be performed on the day and time listed for the course. Check with your instructor for specific dates. You must have good internet access for the Lecture. Must bring and wear a mask whilst on campus for the Lab.
