MUS 155 - Applied Music - Woodwinds
Teaches fundamentals of the woodwind instruments. Studies the standard repertoire. Private lessons are available for either 1 or 2 hours of credit per semester. The length of the lessons will be 1/2 hour for 1 hour credit and 1 hour for 2 hours credit per semester. All courses in applied music may be repeated for a total of 8 hours for the major and 4 hours for the minor. 1-2 half-hour lessons per week, 4-8 hours practice (laboratory) required.

MUS155 Clarinet: Classical, Jazz, and Pop. For all applied music classes at Loudoun, sign up for the instructor who teaches the instrument you wish to learn. First lesson must occur during the first week of class. Recital and Jury Date for non-auditing students is TBD. Applied music classes have a fee in addition to tuition: 100 Level, 1 credit hour classes $450 per semester, for a total of 7.5 hours. These fees will not be refunded after the census date.
