TRV 100 - Introduction to the Travel Industry
Presents an overview of the structure and scope of the travel industry with emphasis on job categories and functions, basic vocabulary, and the interrelationships of the various components. Includes the study of information displays of airline computer reservation system.
Lecture 3 hours per week.

TRV 112 - Geography of Tourism II
Focuses on the geographic knowledge necessary to provide effective, efficient service to clients. Studies major western Hemisphere (Part I) and eastern hemisphere (Part II) destination. Emphasizes features of touristic importance, such as visit documentation, climate and physical features, accommodations and attractions, and accessibility. Part II of II.
Lecture 3 hours per week.

TRV 198 - Seminar and Project
Requires completion of a project or research report related to the student's occupational objectives and a study of approaches to the selection and pursuit of career opportunities in the field.
May be repeated for credit. Variable hours.

Assigns problems for independent study incorporating previous instruction and supervised by the instructor.

TRV 297 - Cooperative Education
Supervises in on-the-job training for pay in approved business, industrial and service firms, coordinated by the college's cooperative education office. Is applicable to all occupational- technical curricula at the discretion of the college.
Credit/work ratio not to exceed 1:5 hours. May be repeated for credit. Variable hours.
