Provides academic support for successful completion of ENG 111. Students will identify and apply academic skills including critical reading, writing, thinking, and introductory research.

This course provides academic support for successful completion of ENG 111.

Corequisite: ENG 111
Course Objectives
- Identify and implement critical processes - in reading, writing, thinking, and research as defined in EDE 11 and ENG 111.
- Critical Reading - identify basic rhetorical knowledge and use active reading strategies alongside ENG 111.
- Critical Writing and Conventions - compose and apply the writing process and conventions
- Critical Thinking - show critical thinking skills about various texts from EDE 11 and ENG 111
- Critical Research - demonstrate effective research processes for EDE 11 and ENG 111.
