Major: Certificate in Therapeutic Massage at Patrick & Henry Community College


The Certificate in Certificate in Therapeutic Massage is part of the Massage Therapy/Therapeutic Massage program at Patrick & Henry Community College

This program is a sequenced three semester program. It is designed for students who plan to become licensed massage therapists. They treat clients by using touch to massage body muscles and soft tissues. They also help clients with pain relief, stress relief, improvement of circulation, and/or improved general wellness. Students who complete the program with success may apply to take the state licensure exam required to legally practice as a massage therapist in Virginia.
