The Associate of Arts in Visual and Performing Arts -Theatre and Drama Specialization program develops the skills necessary to become an actor. It also prepares students to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a Bachelor of Theatre Arts degree. This program consists of courses in theatre , foreign languages, natural, and social sciences, and mathematics that are usually required in the first two years of a Bachelor of Theatre Arts program. This program offers students the chance to develop the knowledge and skills needed to be a successful actor.
