General Course Purpose
This course is designed to serve the needs of students who need to develop computational skills with whole numbers prior to enrolling in MTE 1.

- Recognize place value and names for numbers
- Perform operations with whole numbers
- Round whole numbers and estimate with whole numbers
- Solve application problems by adding, subtracting, multiplying, or dividing whole numbers
