Focuses on the pathological processes of disease with emphasis on the anatomical and physiological alterations of the human body by systems. Includes diagnosis and management appropriate to the advanced health care provider in and out of the hospital environment.
Lecture 4 hours. Total 4 hours per week.

General Course Purpose

This course provides students with advanced concepts related to anatomical and physiological alterations in patients managed by advanced health care providers. Required for students testing National Registry paramedic.

Prerequisite: EMT/B Certification
