EMS 248 - Paramedic Comprehensive Field Experience
Expands the student experience with live patient assessment and management into the field setting. It is the third step in a continuum of learning involving live patients that leads to entry-level competence at the paramedic level.
Laboratory 6 hours. Total 6 hours per week.

The ability of the College to offer hybrid courses will be contingent upon COVID-19 regulations and guidance in effect at the time the course is offered. If the college can offer in-person sessions, this hybrid course will require the student come to campus for part of the instruction time. If in-person instruction is feasible, these sessions will be conducted in small groups, meeting CDC, VDH, and any other official guidelines for COVID-19 safety. Students must have regular access to a computer and the Internet to successfully complete this course. Some courses require proctored testing.
