Teaches students to create and manipulate digital photographs. Covers masking, color corrections, and merging of illustrations with photographs. Examines the ethical and property-rights issues which are raised in the manipulation of images.

PHT 210 - Advanced Video Techniques
Explores advanced production and post-production techniques utilizing the audio and video capabilities of Hybrid Digital Single Lens Reflex (HDSLR) cameras that include the following: sound design, title design, color correction, compelling visual narratives, complex compositing and basic motion effects. Covers practical video projects common for commercial photographers and designers, including corporate identity videos, event videos and advanced storytelling. This course is cross-listed with ART 210. Credit will not be awarded for both.

PHT 214 - Advanced Video Project Development
Applies video pre-production, production and post-production skills in the creation of unique, client approved videos from concept to completion. Develops skills of various video crew positions, collaboration skills, and communication skills and creation of narrative, documentary, educational and commercial video products as part of a portfolio. This course is cross-listed with ART 214. Credit will not be awarded for both.
