GEO 200 - Introduction to Physical Geography
Studies major elements of the natural environment including earth sun relationship, land forms, weather and climate, natural vegetation and soils. Introduces the student to types and uses of maps.
Lecture 3 hours per week.

GEO 210 - People and the Land: Intro to Cultural Geography
Focuses on the relationship between culture and geography. Presents a survey of modern demographics, landscape modification, material and non-material culture, language, race and ethnicity, religion, politics, and economic activities. Introduces the student to types and uses of maps.

GEO 220 - World Regional Geography
Studies physical and cultural characteristics of selected geographical regions of the world. Focuses upon significant problems within each of the regions, and examines the geographical background of those problems. Introduces the student to types and uses of maps.

Familiarizes the student with the various economic, geographic, political and demographic factors that affect international target markets and trade activity.

Emphasizes the influence of geography on political systems and nation states. Discusses historic and current events including campaigns, wars, and treaties as functions of land, resources and energy requirements. Introduces the student to types and uses of maps.
