The Associate of Applied Science in Associate of Applied Science Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology is part of the Clinical/Medical Laboratory Technician program at Wytheville Community College

This two year program is designed to prepare students with the knowledge and skills to join the medical field. The offering prepares students for employment as Medical Laboratory Technician. Successful students are eligible to take a national registry examination for certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician and may be employed in a variety of medical and scientific laboratory settings. The program is fully approved by National Accrediting Agency of Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS).
