AIR 213 - Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Controls III

Course Description

Introduces electrical, pneumatic and electronic control circuits as applied to year-round air conditioning systems. Includes reading wiring and schematic diagrams, troubleshooting, and designing high and low voltage control systems. Part I of II.
Lecture 2-3 hours. Laboratory 2-3 hours. Total 4-6 hours per week.
3-4 credits

General Course Purpose

Introduce students to troubleshooting of various control units used air conditioning and refrigeration equipment that allows application of skills and practices used in the Commercial HVAC field.
