ARO 255 - Multi-Engine Class Rating

Course Description

Effective: 2016-11-07

Provides instruction and flight training in preparation for the Federal Aviation Administration's Private or Commercial Pilot Multi-engine Airplane Certificate. Includes the number of flight hours necessary to develop the competency level required by the Federal Aviation Administration and requires the use of multi-engine aircraft.
Lecture 1-2 hours. Laboratory 2-4 hours. Total 3-6 hours per week.

General Course Purpose

This course is recommended for any private or commercial pilot interested in becoming a multi-engine pilot. This course prepares the student with an understanding of multi-engine flying at either the private or commercial level

Course Prerequisites/Corequisites

Prerequisite: ARO 236 and Permission of the Program Head
