ARO 256 - Certified Flight Instructor

Course Description

Effective: 2016-11-07

Provides instruction and flight training in preparation for the Federal Aviation Administration's Flight Instructor Certification Instrument Rating. Demonstrates principles and method for instrument flying instruction, comprehensive coverage of instrument flight maneuvers, and aeronautical knowledge and skill necessary for instructing instrument flight.
Lecture 1 hour. Laboratory 4 hours. Total 5 hours per week.

General Course Purpose

This course is recommended for any commercial pilot interested in becoming a flight instructor. This course prepares the student with an understanding of airport operations and management.
