ARO 257 - Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument

Course Description

Provides instruction and flight training in preparation for the Federal Aviation Administration's Examination for Certified Flight Instruction Instrument - Airplane. Includes training syllabus and lesson plan development, teaching methods, performance evaluation, and instructor responsibilities.
Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 5 hours per week.
4 credits

General Course Purpose

This course is recommended for any commercial pilot interested in becoming an instrument flight instructor. This course prepares the student with an understanding of instrument flight instruction elements.

Prerequisites: ARO 237 and ARO 256
