AUB 102 - Basic Non-Structural Repair

Course Description

Effective: 2016-05-01

Examines basic non-structural repair techniques using current industry standards. Covers metal repair, use of body filler, trim and hardware removal, and plastic and composite repair. Prepares students for the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR) ProLevel 1 Platinum certification in Non-Structural Repair.
Lecture 3 hours, Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.

General Course Purpose

This course enables students to become familiar with basic non-structural repair techniques using current industry standards. This course will be the prerequisite course to an advanced non-structural repair course and will be required for students to receive I-CAR Pro-Level 1 Platinum certification in Non-Structural Repair from TCC.
