EDU 272 - Methods for Supporting Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders in the School Setting
Discusses effective socialization and behavior management strategies specific to ASD. Presents strategies to promote social skill development and generalization. Demonstrates mastery of assessment and data collection with emphasis on functional behavior. Student will assist a classroom teacher to develop social or behavioral intervention strategies for an ASD child. Part III of III.
Lecture 3 hours per week.
Prerequisite: EDU 271.
