ELE 246 - Industrial Robotics Programming

Introduces industrial robotics and their programming for repetitive manufacturing systems. Includes the design of software that ensures safe operation and programming of both on- and off-line robot operations. This course is cross-listed with IND 246. Credit will not be awarded for both.
(3 Cr.) Lecture 2 hours, Lab 2 hours, Total 4 hours per week

General Course Purpose

The course introduces the Mechatronic's student to industrial robotics and programming of repetitive manufacturing systems. Provides instruction in hardware and software associated with servo robots and associated systems.
