Studies the principles of behavioral change. Applies the stages of change as it relates to motivation in the fitness and nutrition industry.
Lecture 3 hours per week.
3 credits

General Course Purpose

To prepare students entering a career in fitness and/or nutrition as they deal with common motivational issues faced by clients and the general population; specifically, motivation and preventing dropout is a huge issue in this industry.
