IND 248 - Intermediate Folding and Gluing for Packaging

Course Description

Effective: 2015-01-01

Develop advanced methods in folding and gluing to include complex package layouts, make-ready procedures, tooling preparation, installation and application of spring and rotary hooks and glue head placement in addition to glue pattern application.
Credits - 3. Lecture - 2 hours per week. Laboratory - 2 hours per week. Total Contact - 4 hours per week.

General Course Purpose

This course gives students a more advanced understanding and experience with the operation of folding and gluing equipment as well as how to create and prepare boxes for various products.
