PNE 132 - Care of Maternal and Newborn Clients

Studies normal pregnancy, childbirth, post-partum, and the neonate along with complications associated with each phase using a family-centered approach.
Lecture 2 hours. Total 2 hours per week.
2 credits

General Course Purpose

This course will provide students with an introduction into maternal / newborn nursing including both normal and abnormal variations within the pre-, intra- and post-partum periods. This 2 credit course will integrate the needs of the family from conception to birth. This course does not include a lab component.
