Provides students the opportunity to implement classroom learning in structured health care settings. Focuses on using the nursing process to plan and implement safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care. Provides the student an opportunity to implement care coordination and manage resources to support patient care.
Laboratory 9 hours. Total 9 hours per week.
3 credits

General Course Purpose

This course is required for the practical nursing student to demonstrate mastery of program concepts in the safe care of individuals across the lifespan.

Prerequisites: PNG 210, Patient-Centered Care II and PNG 215, Patient-Centered Care II Clinical Corequisite: PNG 220, Patient-Centered Care III
