Enhances student knowledge of equine medicine, equipment, diagnostics, and techniques.

General Course Purpose

The course expands upon the basic principles covered in the required Veterinary Technology courses with a deeper focus solely on equine practice. The course allows for students considering and/or pursuing a career in equine practice to obtain more knowledge specific to the equine species.
