ETR 274 - Computer Electronics II
Teaches principles of digital electronics and microprocessors to familiarize the student with typical circuits and methods used to interface computer and/or controllers with various I/O devices. Includes exposure to high level programming as well as assembly language routines. Part II of II.
Lecture 2-3 hours. Laboratory 2-3 hours. Total 4-5 hours per week.

The course has proctored assessments and requires a webcam. These assessments are administered at the BRCC Testing Center or your local community college testing center if you live outside BRCC service area.

Course content is delivered through video recordings that students may access on demand through Canvas. For hands-on lab experience in this course, students will construct and test circuits at home (BRCC provides all materials). Students need basic circuit breadboarding skills and a working knowledge of basic electronic test equipment. Students will be notified the first week of classes with directions to obtain the lab materials.
