The Career Studies Certificate in Career Studies Certificate in Electronics Techology is part of the Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician program at Eastern Shore Community College

Purpose: The Electronics Technology Career Studies Certificate (CSC) prepares students for employment as a technician trainee in electronics engineering technology, communications, and computer fields. This CSC is the first level of a three level pathway that leads to the Associate of Applied Science degree in Technical Studies, Electronics Technology with Computer Technician Specialization. This provides students multiple access and completion opportunities so they can more quickly enter the workforce and advance their knowledge and skills in the field of Electronics Technology.

Students will be able to:
? Analyze Direct Current (DC) and Alternating Current (AC) circuits using various circuit simplification and analysis techniques.
? Identify common electronic components, devices, and symbols.
? Safely use typical Tools and test equipment employed by Electronics technicians
