MAC 125 - Introduction to Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing in Machining
Focuses on basic topics in geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Covers internationally recognized GD&T symbols. Explains the importance of a feature control frame. Teaches the Cartesian coordinate system in relation to precision components. Examines theoretical and practical concepts of geometric controls relative to design, tooling, production, and inspection.
Lecture hours 3 per week.
