ENG 245 - British Literature
Examines British literary traditions and texts from diverse time periods, genres, and authors. Develops critical thinking and interpretive skills through close reading, discussion, and analysis of literary texts in their historical, cultural, social, and/or literary contexts. This is a UCGS transfer course.
Lecture 3 hours. Total 3 hours per week.
Prerequisites: ENG 112, ENG 113, or departmental approval,

This Hi-Flex class meets live online via Zoom for both class meetings of the week. Students may attend the live sessions (synchronous attendance) or watch the class recordings (asynchronous attendance) as needed for student schedules. Note: Attending synchronously does not require an attendance assignment. Students watching the recordings asynchronously will have a brief attendance assignment.
