CHM 110 - Survey of Chemistry: Introduces the basic concepts of general, organic, and biochemistry with emphasis on their applications to other disciplines. No previous chemistry background required.

This course is part of a project called Follett ACCESS. Students will be billed for tuition, fees and the cost of required course materials. The cost for the course materials for this class is $101.50. The electronic course materials will be available to students in Canvas when the course begins. Students will be billed for both tuition and required electronic course materials. All tests must be taken at the BRCC Testing Center or through the remote proctoring service, Respondus Monitor. Respondus is free to students. To use Respondus, students will need a webcam and students must remain visible in the webcam while taking the test. This course meets entirely online with no scheduled meeting times. Students may have to purchase physical and/or electronic books and/or other course materials. Students may be required to take at least one proctored assessment. Faculty will inform students of the proctored assessment requirements in the syllabus and class notes. Instructors may require a webcam and microphone for audio and video capabilities. Asynchronous classes may require a proctored exam from the Testing Center or another location. Students may be able to choose an optional remote proctoring service which requires a student fee.
