CSC 215 - Computer Systems
Examines the hierarchical structure of computer systems. Explores the representation of instructions and data, memory organization/structure, structure of a CPU, programming hierarchy and operating system interactions.
Lecture 3 hours. Total 3 hours per week.
Prerequisite: CSC 221

Students may attend this class in-person, and/or synchronously online via Zoom during the scheduled dates and times of the class (webcam and microphone required), and/or asynchronously online (using Canvas and recorded video lectures). In-person and on Zoom lab sessions, offered on the second class of each week, are highly recommended but not required. Online and in-person office hours will be provided on Zoom throughout the semester. Students may be required to take at least one proctored assessment; faculty will inform students of the proctored assessment requirements in the syllabus and class notes.
