HMS 100 - Introduction to Human Services
Introduces human service agencies, roles and careers. Presents an historical perspective of the field as it relates to human services today. Additional topics include values clarification and needs of target populations.
Lecture 3 hours per week.

This course is part of a project called Follett ACCESS. The cost for the course materials for this class is $TBA. The electronic course materials will be available to students in Canvas when the course begins. Students will be billed for tuition, fees, and required course materials.
Students may attend this class in person, remotely via Zoom (synchronously), or online (asynchronously). Students who choose the online option will be required to meet with the instructor during the first two weeks of class and coordinate a group assignment with peers attending in person.
