- WEL 237 - Applied Welding Process
- Studies advanced welding applications for various materials, advanced welding skills and fabrication equipment. Examines materials to be welded such as stainless steel and aluminum, choosing the proper welding process such as advanced Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW)-Aluminum, Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)-Aluminum and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), developing the appropriate welding procedure for the materials chosen and successfully completing a capstone project for the entire course of study.Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 5 hours per week.
