The Career Studies Certificate in Health Sciences, Career Studies Certificate is part of the Allied Health Diagnostic, Intervention, and Treatment Professions, Other program at Eastern Shore Community College

The Health Sciences Career Studies Certificate has four purposes:
1. Provide CPR certification and eligibility to sit for the nurse aide credentialing exam
2. Prepare students for the nursing program offered in partnership with Tidewater Community College
3. Prepare students to test for nurse aide certification
4. Prepare students for success in other healthcare educational programs, such as occupational therapy assistant and pharmacy technician offered by TCC and other colleges.
The CSC will allow the student, with the support of an advisor, to choose electives that align with the field of healthcare they wish to enter.
