The Career Studies Certificate in CSC in Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, & Refrigeration Technician Assistant is part of the Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Refrigeration Maintenance Technology/Technician program at Eastern Shore Community College

Purpose: The Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, & Refrigeration Technician Assistant, Career Studies Certificate program is designed to build upon the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, & Refrigeration HVAC&R Technician Helper Career Studies Certificate (CSC). Writing and math courses develop additional knowledge and skills preferred by employers. The Technician Assistant CSC is the second level of a three-level pathway that leads to an Associate of Applied Science degree in Technical Studies. This provides students multiple access and completion opportunities so they can more quickly enter the workforce and advance their knowledge and skills in the field of HVAC. Students planning to work as HVAC Technicians will have the opportunity to earn a nationally recognized credential through the EPA certification examination. Classes count toward the Journeyman and Master state license in HVAC.
