CHD 165 - Observation and Participation in Early Childhood/Primary Settings
Focuses on observation as the primary method for gathering information about children in early childhood settings. Emphasizes development of skills in the implementation of a range of observation techniques. Includes minimum 30 hours of field placement in early learning setting.
Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 4 hours per week.

Students may need to complete a background check, fingerprints, and TB screening at the students' expense for practicum placements.
A camera and microphone may be required for online presentations.
A proctored exam will be required to be completed in the Laurel Ridge testing centers or through another approved proctor.
