- MUS 169 - Beginning Fiddle
- An introductory level course on the history of the fiddle, regional musicians, influences, and performance with emphasis on the old time styles found in the central Appalachian region. Classroom instruction will include lecture, demonstrations, assignments, reports, and quizzes. Student practice will be required outside of classroom hours.Lecture 2 hours, Laboratory 2 hours per week.
