The Associate of Science in Associate of Science Degree in General Studies is part of the General Studies program at Mountain Gateway Community College

The General Studies Associate Sciences degree represents the first two years of many four-year college or university liberal arts majors. A challenging core of requirements is augmented by transfer electives, which will be chosen from the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and mathematics. After completing the first two years at MGCC, the student will be able to transfer into the third year of a four-year college or university liberal arts major.
