50% of class time is live streamed via Zoom; students are expected to attend class via Zoom on the days and times listed on the schedule. 50% of class work is completed online, independently, via CANVAS. Reliable internet access and a computer are required.
Thirteen Week
CST 295: Playwriting: This class introduces the craft of writing for the theater. Students explore the various elements of playwrighting. In addition, students will work on writing in different theatrical genres. Students will look at how other playwrights approach the craft and review their works. Students will also explore how theatrical writing can be used for different functions, such as entertainment, education, and as a therapeutic tool.
