ESL 48 - Writing Workshop
Provides an opportunity for further practice in intermediate and advanced writing techniques taught in required ESL writing courses. Provides reinforcement in writing skills, including composing, organizing, revising and editing.
Lecture 3-6 hours per week.
Prerequisite: Requires teacher recommendation from ESL 41. Students who enter ESL 48 should show the ability to recognize and manipulate grammatical structures and a sense of essay organization but lack the ability to successfully apply this knowledge to develop longer pieces of academic writing.
