This two year degree is an application program designed for admitted students to learn the knowledge and skills of the nursing profession. It teaches students to provide safe patient care as entry level nurses in many health care settings. The program offers courses in social and natural science, communication, English, and humanities. Students who complete the program with success may apply to take the licensing exam (NCLEX-RN) required to practice as a Registered Nurse.
