PNG 125 - Patient-Centered Care I Clinical
Provides students the opportunity to implement classroom learning in a structured clinical setting that includes maternal-child health care and adult and geriatric populations. Includes care of the child-rearing family with an emphasis on health promotion and reduction of risk. Focuses on using the nursing process to plan and implement safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
Laboratory 6 hours. Total 6 hours per week.
Prerequisites: PNG 110 and PNG 115. Corequisite: PNG 120.
