Presents in context the arithmetic of fractions and decimals, the metric system and dimensional analysis, percents, ratio and proportion, linear equations, topics in statistics, topics in geometry, logarithms, topics in health professions including dosages, dilutions and IV flow rates. This course is intended for programs in the Health Professions.

This course is set up as a hyflex hybrid flipped classroom. This means that the course will meet once a week, and students may attend in person, watch live via Zoom or watch the recorded class on Canvas at a later time. As a flipped classroom, class time will be reserved for answering questions, going over example problems, and other activities, rather than lecturing. Course lectures will be provided on Canvas.
