CAD 135 - Electrical/Electronic Blueprint Reading
Presents an interpretation of basic shop drawings, conventional symbols, terminology, and principles used by the mechanical draftsman. Explains common electrical and electronic symbols, wiring diagrams, schematic drawing, and application of wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and application of wiring diagrams. (Credit will not be awarded for both CAD 135 and DRF 135.)
Lecture 2 hours per week.

Students must have access to a computer capable of running AutoCAD software, either on a personal system or through a reliable resource, such as a TCC computer lab. Students should review the current system requirements on the Autodesk website to ensure compatibility. Eligible students may obtain Autodesk products at no cost through Autodesk?s educational licensing program. Mac-books and Chrome-books are not acceptable. TCC Computer Club may be able to provide free computers with required characteristics to eligible students.
This course is conducted online in real time with scheduled meeting days and times as published in the class schedule, supplemented with online asynchronous (anytime) computer coursework. Student participation in the synchronous (real time) sessions may be required. Specific expectations regarding real time sessions will be communicated by the faculty. Students are required to have reliable and daily access to a computer and internet service.
