- CAD 211 - Advanced Technical Drafting I
- Teaches use of drafting equipment and applications, emphasizing knowledge and skill required for industrial drawing. Includes piping, gearing, geometric and positional tolerances and 2D/3D drawing layout. (Credit will not be awarded for both CAD 211 and DRF 211.)Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2-3 hours. Total 4-5 hours per week.

| This course is conducted online in real time with scheduled meeting days and times as published in the class schedule, supplemented with online asynchronous (anytime) computer coursework. Student participation in the synchronous (real time) sessions is required. Students are required to have reliable and daily access to a computer and internet service. Students must install and use Autodesk software on their personal computer (preferably a desktop) with the following minimum specifications: Processor ? 2.5 GHz; Installed RAM ? 8 GB; Display Resolution ? 1920 ? 1080. MacBooks and Chromebooks are not acceptable. The TCC Computer Club can provide free computers with the required specifications to students. | |||||||
