ART 116 - Design for the Web I
Introduces the basic elements of web page design: typography, imagery, and color, and examines how they are combined to create effective layouts. Teaches organization of materials, sketching and concept development, site planning and various methods of construction.
Credits - 3. Lecture 2 hours. Studio Instruction - 2 hours. Total Contact - 4 hours per week.

Laptop Requirement: HP 15.6'' i5/8GB/1TB Non-Touch OR Apple MacBook Air 13.3 Laptop with Touch ID. Software Requirement: Creative Cloud All Apps for Students & Teachers Annual Plan.
This course may require proctored testing as described in the course syllabus. A student may request an alternative proctoring method, but the student will be responsible for any additional fees associated with the alternative method.
This class requires online assignments in addition to online Zoom class meeting.
This class may be substituted for ART 122, Drawing II.
