The Associate of Applied Science in Associate of Applied Science Degree in Physical Therapist Assist is part of the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Wytheville Community College

This two-year program is designed to prepare the student with the knowledge to become a trained health care worker who can assist the physical therapist in meeting the physical therapy needs of the public. These needs include, but are not limited to, wellness and public education and disability prevention. Successful students are eligible to meet national board license requirements for their home state as Physical Therapy Assistants.
