MUS 170 - Beginning Rhythm Guitar
An introductory level course on the history of rhythm guitar, regional musicians, influences, and performance with emphasis on the old time, style found in the central Appalachian region. Classroom instruction will include lecture, demonstrations, assignments, reports, and quizzes. Student practice will be required outside of classroom hours.
Lecture 2 hours, Laboratory 2 hours per week.
