Welding Metallurgy - WEL 145 at Mountain Gateway Community College

WEL 145 - Welding Metallurgy: Studies steel classifications, heat treatment procedures, properties of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Discusses techniques and practices of testing welded joints and destructive/nondestructive, visual magnetic and fluorescent testing.

Lecture 2-3 hours. Laboratory 1-2 hours. Total 3-5 hours per week.
